Im usually an 8F (churchs 8 regular) and these in an 8 were true to size. Very nicely made. My initial thoughts were they are slightly heavier than trainers but thats because they are well made. These are going to last. These are as they look - a shoe crossed with a trainer. The leather lining makes them above a trainer. I wouldnt go running in them, I would wear them to the office and meetings. I bought two pairs (the other in plain Cognac to get a discount and postage combined. I did get hit with customs duty to the UK but they are still worth it. The Cognac Pebble are a little lighter in colour than the Cognac and the pebbling pattern makes the leather a little firmer, maybe a little dressy ie a little more sporty/fashion - but just personal opinion. I really like both, they offer variety. I could not choose one over the other, though I am wearing the pebbble more as they are a little more relaxed with jeans etc… and its summer as I write this. Very pleased.
