Excellent finishing and quality from Blkbrd for my MTO Maryam leather Veyron single monk chukka boots. The fit is on the lose side even through they designed per the size. Probably it wears large. Hope this works out in the long run.

I was looking for the perfect pair of shoes for my wedding, and I had a vision of a brown monkstrap ankle boot. I stumbled upon BLKBRD after falling down a rabbit hole of up-and-coming bespoke shoe makers, with the highest possible quality to price ratio. I saw these boots and was awestruck. I got in touch with Sandeep who was a very attentive liaison between me and the manufacturing process. The shoes were almost exactly what I was looking for, but I wanted them to be a bit more formal. I proposed removing the chain stitch and making them double monk. Using the Veyron as a starting point, they made me a fully custom pair of shoes that nailed my vision. I was also convinced my timeline was unrealistic, but they made it happen in under one month. These shoes are so gorgeous, and the quality is top notch. I really wish I could post pictures, but there is no option for that, so you’ll just have to take my word for it. I did have one sizing hiccup along the way, and they corrected it in under 2 weeks. Consider having your feet measured by someone who knows what they are doing. I did it myself, and I suspect my initial sizing issues had something to do with that. That said, I ultimately found the sizing to be fairly typical compared to most other dress shoes.
